Eye Examination Fees

Clear Price Policy

As part of our clear price policy, we do not discount our examination fee as a way of attracting you to purchase spectacles or contact lenses - the eye examination fee is based on the time, expertise and experience of our optometrists. This allows us to carry out a more thorough eye examination, including, if you wish, the new Optomap® Retinal Examination. We are also able to spend more time with you explaining the results and discussing with you the best ways to correct your vision.

Our Professional Fees:

Advanced Eye Examination (includes Optomap® AND retinal imaging)

Private                                          £57.60

NHS Patient Extension Fee            £37.34*

Children under 19                          £12.50

(* Note: if you are Diabetic and do not wish us to take your retinal pictures, your

extension fee will be reduced to £25.00)
