Kids in Contacts

'Not just for grow-ups'

We believe that contact lenses ‘aren't just for grown-ups'. Many children benefit from wearing contact lenses, whether for full time use or just for activities such as swimming, rugby, netball or any other sport where spectacles can be inconvenient or troublesome.

Contact lenses can particularly be a good option for older children and teens. If they're keen to give contacts a try, discuss the options with us at Eyesite and see what type would be best for them. As lenses are worn close to the eye, it's important to bear in mind the high level of care needed to ensure they are kept clean and safe. It's a commitment that kids need to take on board and, as parents; you may need to ensure they keep this up. Frequent eye checks are essential too, to ensure eyes remain healthy at all times.

Please see our Contact Lens Page for further information on lenses available to you and  your family, please fee free to book a Complimentary Comfort Trial if you would like to come in and discuss fitting your child with contact lenses with one of our experienced practitioners.
