Lens Types

Daily disposable soft lenses

There are a wide variety of disposable lens options available; all of which you wear once and then throw them away. They are suitable for the majority of prescriptions, including those with astigmatism. The great advantage with daily disposable lenses is that you will not require cleaning and disinfecting solutions.

Frequent replacement Lenses

These are a popular and economical option. You wear your lenses during the day then take them out at night to clean and disinfect them. The latest silicone hydrogel materials allow longer wearing times, they can be replaced every two weeks or every month depending on your requirements.

Gas permeable (rigid lenses)

These are manufactured from a rigid plastic material that allows oxygen to pass through them to keep your eyes healthy. They are suitable for all prescriptions and because they are rigid they last much longer than soft lenses. Gas permeable lenses are replaced every 6-12 months.

Ortho K

We also embrace the latest technology, and we are providers of the revolutionary Ortho K lenses. These are lenses which gently alter the shape of your cornea whilst you are asleep, which allows you to see clearly through the day without them in. Please see our Ortho K page for further information.
